Bad things happen while traveling. Coming to grips with and accepting that fact can go a long way in making your next vacation or business trip more bearable. It can be hard to remember when you are in a bad situation at the time, but the airline ticket agent, the flight attendant, the hotel clerk, and nearly everyone else are not there to make your vacation worse, they are actually attempting to help you get to where you are going or enjoy your stay while you are there. When bad things happen it is important to keep your cool and be courteous, most often the people attending to you are trying to do their best anyway. Becoming argumentative and belligerent actually slows down the process and has the effect on the other person of making them no longer wanting to help you. Know that travel can at times be stressful and it is a lot easier process to get through if you have a smile on your face.
