Truckers Strike In Pennsylvania Over High Diesel Fuel Prices

Hundreds of truck drivers parked their trucks along the highways of Pennsylvania in a strike meant to show the government and their fellow citizens that they’re fed up with high fuel prices. The high cost of diesel means that some truck drivers spend over $1200 to fill up their tanks. While much of this rise in the cost of fuel is passed on to the consumer, which is why things like milk and eggs have risen in price lately, some of this rise in fuel prices has eaten into the pocketbooks of the truck drivers themselves. The high price in fuel that many Americans can not afford is yet another reason there should be more thought put into alternative fuels.
