You Can Beat That Speeding Ticket!

Washington State’s No-Texting Law Goes Into Effect

Washington State is the latest state to institute a law against text-messaging while driving. This is a secondary offense, meaning that you cannot be pulled over for text messaging while driving, but if you are observed swerving or performing other dangerous actions while driving and texting you can then be written two tickets: one for the dangerous action and one for text messaging while driving.

This seems like a common sense law, as to text message while driving it requires you to take your eyes off the road for a significant amount of time, but it has become more of a problem in recent years.
