Many things to save come to mind when a natural disaster strikes; people, photos, clothing, electronics, and more.  But, have you ever heard of someone having to save a Bridgecam?

A bridgecam is exactly what it sounds like, someone has pointed a webcam at a bridge and now the world can enjoy this modern marvel as trains or cars or what have you drive across.  But, what do you do when an act of God strikes and there is only hours keeping the computer running your bridgecam from  going underwater.

We are proud to bring you the story of the Great Bridgecam Rescue of 2002.   The Mississippi River was rising, and someone had to save the bridgecam.
