The city of Hammond got ahead of itself, at least that is the opinion of the state of Indiana. It appears that the Hammond City Council approved the installation of the very controversial red light cameras at some of the city’s intersections. The problem is that until the state of Indiana passes a law authorizing their use in traffic enforcement, no tickets can be written based on the placement of these cameras. View the story here.
