Much has been made lately of red light cameras that are put in place at intersections that see a lot of accidents and the running of red lights. The cameras are set to take photos of vehicles that cross a designated invisible line while the light is red. Some are used for research and some are used to send out tickets to violators. Here is a new use for a camera. Chattanooga, Tennessee city officials have placed a camera with a voice amplifier in a spot where it points at a popular illegal dumping location. Now, when people pull up to dump their trash and unwanted things they are on camera and a voice can warn them to leave.
