Street racing is obviously one of the more dangerous activities that someone can choose to be a part of. Clearly people interested in this “sport”, have a competitive nature and may even have a high level of skill, but racing should be confined to a race track and not brought on to the street. Below is just one example of what can happen when people bring racing onto the public roadways, whether they’re in cars or on motorcycles.

Collapse Of Minneapolis Bridge Caught On Video

The collapse of that highway bridge in Minneapolis that caused the nation to take a good look at all of its bridges was caught on tape. Here is a video from the Minnesota Department of Transportation, it doesn’t show the actual collapse as it was pointed the other direction but it is then turned to see the aftermath with the dust cloud still in the air. An amazing look at a huge catastrophe, all caught on tape by a DOT webcam.

Here is a scary piece of video showing a huge wave hitting a cruise ship. It probably isn’t that serious of a situation, but when traveling on a vacation cruise this probably isn’t what you have in mind to have happen is it? That’s one wave I’d rather not be out on deck for.

Slowing down and stopping for traffic lights isn’t just the law, its common sense. Why risk your life and those around you because you are in a hurry to go somewhere? Check out this video. Luckily no one was hurt but look how close this driver comes to causing a serious accident.

Possible injuries to watch for: the bicyclist crossing in the crosswalk, three individual cars that stopped or slowed down in time to miss this lunatic, the people walking across the crosswalk, and not to mention all the others who would’ve become involved had an accident occurred. These are the types of people that need to be taken off the streets.

This looks like something out of a Hollywood movie, the earth slides away and enormous trees flop around like toothpicks. We always talk about being prepared when you’re out on the roads, but nothing could prepare you for something like this. Play this video:

The only thing you can do is hopefully not get caught in this situation. If you’re stranded because of it, it would be nice to have extra food and water, and maybe some warm clothes. Hopefully no one was hurt in the above video.
