Nationwide Index of Traffic Cams
One of the more interesting camera type things put on the internet recently is Google’s “street view“. Google has sent vehicles out to a large number of places and taken video of the streets as they drive by. A really interesting and somewhat exciting idea. The uses for this feature are almost limitless, you can see your old neighborhood, you can see where you plan on going for a vacation, and more. One of the funniest things that has happened is that sometimes the Google video truck has driven by unusual things that are happening alongside the road. Check this one out:

Here is one of the more popular photos from our Car Wreck Photo Gallery. The big question is how this one happened. It couldn’t have been a high speed accident as the there would be more damage. It had to happen slow… very slow.

An accident like this, happening slowly, would have to be pretty scary as you could watch the whole thing happen right before your eyes.
Well, it has been long promised, but it is finally complete. Our Car Wreck Photo Gallery is live and accessible right here. You can also access it by clicking on the car wreck photo in the upper right hand corner of the site here.
Please drive safely so that you and your friends or family who are your passengers, as well as those that are sharing the road with you, don’t end up in serious auto collisions like those that befell these cars and drivers. Use common sense and standard safe driving techniques to avoid getting in a serious wreck that can only change your life for the negative.
James Bond’s Car Gets All Smashed Up
It looks like it was shaken, not stirred. Shaken badly. Actually what happened to the beautiful car pictured below is that it was crashed into a lake.

Here’s a video showing some crash highlights from a traffic camera placed in a tunnel somewhere in Russia. This is not made for a movie or a stunt video of any kind, this is actual commuter footage. Very scary indeed.
The problem of running red lights is a problem that doesn’t seem to go away. When you think about it, it isn’t that hard to figure out. If the light is red, stop. If the light is yellow, stop if you can safely do so. The film above shows the bad things that can happen when you run a red light. There’s the injuries to each of the drivers and their passenger, but also note what happens to the pedestrian that is crossing the street when the film clip starts. Statistics from cameras like this show that a high percentage of people that run red lights are also talking on their cell phone at the time, put the cell phone down and eliminate other distractions while driving. Please stop on red.
Here is one last car wreck photo that comes from our car wreck photo gallery which should be up shortly. Statistics show that many car accidents are caused simply by drivers driving too close to the car in front of them or too fast for the road conditions. Ease up on the gas pedal and pay attention to the warning signs on public roadways.

The car wreck photo gallery should be up and accessible with over 75 car accident photos for you to choose from.
We continue work on bringing you the DOTwebcams.com Car Wreck Gallery.
