While we must all do our best while driving to make sure that the roads are safe, and while we all hope that we would never become involved in a catastrophic accident, it does happen from time to time. The first responders to scenes like this one deserve a hearty “Thank You”. We must remember to appreciate the law enforcement personnel, department of transportation employees, medical professionals that respond and help out at scenes like this every day. They have a good deal of support too from dispatchers, flaggers, and traffic engineers too. We sometimes rarely think of these people, but we’re sure glad they are there when we need them.
